ARTIFACT:
This is a Northwest Airlines stewardess half wing from the late 1950s. The wing shows a slightly off-center red, white and blue bull's-eye design with an arrowhead-shaped compass needle pointing northwest.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1950's.
SIZE:
About 2" in width by 11/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:
Gold-plated brass with enamel detail.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with a drop-in locking catch.
MARKINGS:
Maker's mark.
