ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s pilot wing for Cambrian Airways, a Welsh airline that began in 1933 and merged with British Airways over four decades later. The wing is in a beautiful gold bullion with a great red lion rampant against a field of emerald at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" x 3-13/16".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt and cloth embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads, treated paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The wing shows very light wear and tarnish.
