This is a 1950s pilot wing for Cambrian Airways, a Welsh airline that began in 1933 and merged with British Airways over four decades later. The wing is in a beautiful gold bullion with a great red lion rampant against a field of emerald at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" x 3-13/16".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt and cloth embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads, treated paper backing.
