Late 1950s Dan-Air (UK) Wing in Bullion

This is a Dan-Air wing in gold bullion from the late 1950s. Dan-Air operated from 1953 until 1992, when it became part of British Airways. There is a red and gold striped pennant flag at the center of the wing.

Circa late 1950s.

Approximately 1-7/16" x 4-3/16"

Wool embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads, paper backing.
