ARTIFACT:

This is a bullion helicopter wing enameled in red and blue for the helicopter division of Bristol Aircraft of the United Kingdom. The division was launched after World War II and sold off in 1960.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/16" x 4-3/8"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in gold bullion threads, gold-plated brass with enamel, paper backing.
ATTACHMENT:Two bendable prongs.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The wing has light wear, mostly on reverse, and is in beautiful condition otherwise.
