This is an early 1970s Kuwait Airways pilot wing with a beautifully embroidered crest in the colors and design of the Kuwaiti flag turned 90 degrees. Kuwait Airways started in 1954, after starting out as Kuwait National Airways Company one year earlier.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter and 3-3/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cloth embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
