Early 1940s US Army 265th Coast Artillery Regiment DI by Meyer

This is an early 1940s distinctive insignia for the United States 265th Coast Artillery Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows a golden cactus over a fleur-de-lis.

Circa early 1940s.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height 15/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with engraved maker's mark.

7 (Very Fine): The DI shows some light wear; pin is slightly bent and someone wrote on the back.
