This is a distinctive insignia hand-embroidered in bullion for the United States Army 8th Cavalry Regiment. The DI has a rearing horse logo and reads HONOR AND COURAGE.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:1-7/8" height and 2-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:Sewn into a loop.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): DI has a couple of very small holes in felt on reverse.
