Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 3rd Cavalry Regiment. It is embroidered in gold thread upon green ribbed silk or rayon and is for wear upon epaulets. The insignia is a horn and the words BRAVE RIFLES.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5-1/2" in length and 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silk or rayon embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, partial cloth backing.

None.
