Japanese-Made DI for US Army 8th Cavalry Regiment

This is a Japanese-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 8th Cavalry Regiment. The DI shows a rearing white horse and reads HONOR AND COURAGE beneath eight blue stars.

Circa post-Korean War era.

1-3/16" height and 1-5/16" width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Horizontal safety-style pin.
