Beautiful Circa 1942 CBI Made China Air Task Force (14th United States Air Force) Shoulder

This is a beautiful exquisite WWII shoulder patch handmade in China or India for the China Air Task Force, the precursor to the 14th United States Air Force. This patch was worn on the left shoulder in the early days of this branch, and then transferred to the right shoulder as the branch grew in size. Patch is navy blue and pictures a winged tiger and a single star.

Felt patch with very detailed hand-embroidery in gold and silver bullion.
