This is a beautiful bullion shoulder patch on midnight blue chenille made in the China-Burma-India theatre for the United States Army Air Force 10th Air Force. The patch shows a winged 10 at center with a star hovering above.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chenille embroidered with silk/cotton and bullion threads, cotton backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAJX10 LAIEX9/10 AGEX3/17
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Patch has light tarnishing and light wear, mostly on reverse.
