ARTIFACT: This is a Beautiful Variation circa Late 1942 United States Army Air Force CATF China Air Task Force Shoulder Patch. Bullion on Wool, Made in India.

The patch depicts a winged tiger beneath a bullion star with a red center. 
The CATF replaced the 1st American Volunteer Group (aka "The Flying Tigers") and was the precursor to the 14th Air Force.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion embroidered wool, treated gauze backing, cotton thread

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent+): The patch shows light wear and moderate tarnishing, overall it is in excellent condition.
