This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 83rd Engineer Battalion by Meyer. The DI shows a wreathed tower within a triangle above a fleur-de-lis and reads ASSIGNE ACCOMPLIRONS (give us the job, we'll do it).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker mark, crest with 22M.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The DI shows some moderate abrasions and one post is slightly bent.
