This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 7th Engineer Battalion. The DI shows an anchor with two crossed oars topped by a red cross.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, crest with 22M and maker mark.
