This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 7th Engineer Battalion. The DI shows an anchor with two crossed oars topped by a red cross.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK and maker mark.
ITEM NOTES:The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition.
