1950s US Army 86th Engineer Battalion DI by Meyer

This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 86th Engineer Battalion by Meyer. The DI shows a Viking ship against a field of red.

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Two posts.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker mark, 9M in crest.
