This is a United States Navy Attack Squadron 122 (VA-122) jacket patch made in Japan. Although the unit was a Skyraider Fleet Replacement training squadron based out of NAS Lemoore, California, it was typical for state-side units to have patches made in Japan, just like combat units. The patch shows an eagle riding a missile.
