1960's Japanese-Made USN Destroyer Squadron (DesRon) 15 Jacket Patch

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960's Japanese-made patch for the United States Navy Destroyer Squadron (DesRon) 1It is shaped like a shield and shows a knight's head and a 15.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960's.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-3/4" in height and 4-1/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, partial muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto a uniform.

MARKINGS:

None.

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-): The patch shows very little wear and has just a bit of writing on reverse.
