This is a circa 1955 United States Army 3rd Engineer Battalion (aka "Eager Beavers") lighter by Wellington. The front of the lighter has an applied enameled insignia and the reverse is engraved JAPAN 1955 KOREA 1955.
VINTAGE:Circa 1955.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width and 1/2" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:WELLINGTON BOX 1064 TOKYO, JAPAN.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a 1950s US Army lighter collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX14 LGJX3/14 SeVIEX02/19
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The lighter shows some light wear/abrasions; all enamel is intact.
