1930s US Army 3rd Engineer Battalion DI

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States 3rd Engineer Battalion. The DI is a displays a Roman numeral III and a beaver, the arms of New Netherlands. The mammal is topped by a palm leaf.

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height 3/4" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing.
