1930s US Army 21st Engineer Battalion DI

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 21st Engineer Battalion. The DI has a nice coppery patina and shows an anchor with crossed oars at its center and a red crescent moon inside a five-bastioned fortress at its top .

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 3/4" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization pins.
