This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 826th Engineer Aviation Battalion by Dondero. The DI is a silver and red crest with a falcon upon a gentleman's forearm and reads ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:A.H. DONDERO INC. WASHINGTON D.C.
