1950s German-Made US Army 77th Engineer Construction Battalion DI by Assman

This is a German-made 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 77th Engineer Construction Battalion by Assman. The DI is a tree with its top half white against red and its green and black bottom half against white and reads LOYALTY AND SERVICE.

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Two posts with clutch-back catches.

A (Assman maker mark).

7+ (Very Fine+): The DI has a few very small spots of light wear and one corner of the enamel has a small ding.
