ARTIFACT:

This is a 1950s Japanese-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 29th Engineer Topographic Battalion. The DI is a blue crest with a red X separating a fleur-de-lis from four stars.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single-screw post with disc backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LCCX2/11
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The insignia shows some light wear and tarnish only.
