ARTIFACT:

This is a 1950s Japanese-made United States Army 51st Signal Battalion DI. The DI is an orange and white crest showing four power line poles and reads SEMPER CONSTANS (always constant).

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

One post (one is missing).

This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBDX4/11

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light wear and tarnish and one post is missing.
