ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army 8th Signal Battalion DI. The DI shows a winged foot flanked by lightning bolts above an atomic energy symbol and reads CELERITAS DILIGENTIA (speed and vigilance).

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two clutch posts.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, 22M  (Meyer maker's mark).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LABX4/11 SABX11/20

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some light abrasions.
