This is a circa 1950s French Army badge for the 2° Groupe de Chasseurs Mécanisés (Mechanized Fighter Group - Tanks). Certain parts of this unit saw service in Algeria. The badge is by Drago, and shows a dragon perched upon a hunting horn.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" height and 1-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two loops.
MARKINGS:H121 DRAGO PARIS.
