ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950s French Army badge for the 2° Groupe de Chasseurs Mécanisés (Mechanized Fighter Group - Tanks). Certain parts of this unit saw service in Algeria. The badge is by Drago, and shows a dragon perched upon a hunting horn.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops.

MARKINGS: H121 DRAGO PARIS.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAEX12 LEEX1/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows small areas of light wear and tarnish.
