1950s DI for US Army 562nd Air Defense Artillery Pinback by Orber

This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 562nd Air Defense Artillery by Orber Manufacturing of Rhode Island. The DI shows a spearlike arrow piercing a winged dragon and reads TUEBOR (I will defend), Michigan's state motto.

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height 15/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
