1950s US Army 76th Field Artillery Regiment DI by Orber

This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 76th Field Artillery Regiment by Orber Manufacturing Company of Rhode Island. The DI is a crest showing the headwear of a dragoon in its upper left-hand corner and a ball of shot at its center. The DI reads DUTY THE SPIRIT OF '76 and has a spiderweb-like design on reverse.

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height 1-1/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light wear and there is one small piece of enamel missing.
