1930s DI for United States Army 1st Coast Artillery Regiment by Meyer

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia by N.S. Meyer for the United States Army 1st Coast Artillery Regiment, Harbor Defense, Panama Canal Zone. The DI reads PRIMUS INTER PARES (first among equals).

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, engraved crest maker mark, some letters scratched on reverse of DI.

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear and abrasions and has a handsome tarnish.
