1930s DI for United States Army 11th Coast Artillery Regiment

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 11th Coast Artillery Regiment. The DI shows a black and white bird and reads AUDAX ET VIGILANS (daring and vigilant).

Circa 1930s.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.
