1930's - WWII DI for United States Army 11th Coast Artillery Regiment Horizontal Pinback

This is a 1930's - World War II distinctive insignia for the United States Army 11th Coast Artillery Regiment. The DI shows a black and white bird and reads AUDAX ET VIGILANS (daring and vigilant).

Circa late 1930's - World War II.

Approximately 1" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch (swivel part of catch is missing).
