WWII DI for United States Army 11th Coast Artillery Regiment Vertical Pinback

This is a World War II distinctive insignia for the United States Army 11th Coast Artillery Regiment. The DI shows a black and white bird and reads AUDAX ET VIGILANS (daring and vigilant).

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1" in height and 1" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical kick pin with come-under locking swivel catch (catch is broken).
