ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver American Airlines stewardess wing 6th issue by Balfour, given to employees with less than five years' seniority. The center of the wing is square with lines radiating out from a nicely enameled eagle logo.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE: 9/16" in height and 2-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: LGB STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: The wing you will receive will be either the one pictured or one differing, if at all, in only the smallest details. This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LCIEX11/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Wing shows some small spots of light to medium wear and tarnish.
