This is a circa late 1940s sterling silver TWA stewardess wing 1st issue type 1 by Balfour. The wing shows an aircraft flying over the letters TWA, which sit on the shaft of an arrow. the back of the wing is not completely solid and is hollowed out in a few spots, including the TWA lettering.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:LGB STERLING.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Wing shows some light to medium wear and tarnish and small rust spots.
