ARTIFACT: Rare circa 1950 ??? 1955 Trans-World Airlines (TWA) Stewardess wing, 1st Issue, Type 2 in sterling silver by Balfour. The half wing is a disc that features a detailed and raised image of an aircraft with the letters: "TWA" along the center. The right (viewer's right) side of the disc features an intricately detailed, feathered wing.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950 - 1955

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" x 11/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated sterling

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal bar with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: "LGB STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a TWA airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAAGX15 VHFX17 LEEJX1/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing bar shows minor to moderate wear, mostly to high points, much of the plating details remain intact.
