ARTIFACT: This is an American Airlines stewardess hat badge in sterling silver. The badge is a plane with AMERICAN emblazoned on its left wing.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING maker's mark MADE IN U.S.A.

ITEM NOTES: The badge you will receive will be either the one pictured or one differing, if at all, in only the smallest details. This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCHL99 LBDEX11/10
