This is a die struck American Airlines stewardess hat badge showing an eagle flanked by two capital As. The reverse of the badge shows the engraved initials "AVC".
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:AVC.
