1870s-1880s New Haven, Connecticut Fire Department Hat Badge

This is a circa 1870s-1880s New Haven, Connecticut Fire Department hat badge. The badge has four points coming out of the center: the top and bottom ones read "NH" and "FD" respectively, and the other two show fire fighting apparatus in relief.

Circa 1870s-1880s.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 2-1/8" in width.

Nickel-plated brass.
