1870s New Haven, Connecticut Veteran Firemen's Association Badge #21

This is a rare circa late 1870s badge for the New Haven, Connecticut Veteran Firemen's Association (VFA), a social and charitable organization founded in 187The badge is numbered 21 and has an inset of firefighting equipment in relief at its center.

Circa late 1870s.

Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 1-11/16" in width.

Plated brass.

Vertical pin (catch is missing).
