This is a circa 1870s or 1880s souvenir fire muster "fire badge" from a New York City fire hat manufacturer: J.T. Waring & Company.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s-1880s.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:None.
