1870s-1880s Long Island City (Queens), NY FD Columbia Hook & Ladder No.4 Badge #20

This is a circa 1870s or 1880s Long Island City (Queens), New York Fire Department Columbia Hook & Ladder No. 4 badge. The badge is numbered 20 at the very bottom. The center of the badge shows a hook and ladder in relief and two arms of the cross bear firefighting equipment.

Circa 1870s-1880s.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

Nickel-plated brass.

Vertical kick pin with C catch.

20 on front.
