ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 3rd Air Force "e;white back"e; variant patch. The patch is moderately worn and shows a three-dimensional number three and a star at the center of a yellow border.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-11/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
