This is a World War II "white back" variant patch for the United States Army Air Forces 2nd Air Force. The patch shows a golden eagle with a proportionate head.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk thread, white backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The patch you will receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a World War II USAAF shoulder patch collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX90 LACX3/14 SACX7/17
