ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 4th Air Force "tall, thin" variant patch. The patch shows a winged star atop four golden rays.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
