The 14th Air Force replaced the China Air Task Force, which itself had earlier replaced the 1st American Volunteer Group (aka "e;Flying Tigers"e;). The patch shows a winged tiger and a white star.
Circa World War II.
Approximately 2-9/16" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.
This is from a WWII United States Army Air Forces shoulder patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX06 LBGX3/11 SLCEX4/14 SCEX7/17
8 (Excellent-): The patch shows very light wear only.
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
