ARTIFACT: This is a great World War II Unites States Army Air Forces 14th Air Force shoulder patch with a white ("snow back"e;) variant. The 14th Air Force replaced the China Air Task Force, which itself had earlier replaced the 1st American Volunteer Group (aka "e;Flying Tigers"e;). The patch shows a winged tiger and a white star.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-9/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII United States Army Air Forces shoulder patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX06 LBGX3/11 SLCEX4/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch shows very light wear only.
