This is a World War II shoulder patch in the "solid wings" variant (with no blue details on the wings) for the United States Army Air Forces 15th Air Force. The patch shows a winged star beneath a number 15.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-11/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
