This is a World War II shoulder patch in the "thick wing" variant for the United States Army Air Forces 15th Air Force. The patch shows a winged star beneath a number 15.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
