WWII US Army 56th Coast Artillery DI by Meyer

This is a World War II distinctive insignia by Meyer for the United States 56th Coast Artillery, which later became the 56 Air Defense Artillery Regiment.

The DI shows a burst of searchlight beams with a winged projectile above and reads NIGHT HIDES NOT.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height 1-1/8" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
