WWII Todd Shipyards Corporation (Los Angeles, CA) Worker Badge

This is a World War II worker badge for the Todd Shipyards Corporation Los Angeles (San Pedro), California yard. Christened Los Angeles Shipbuilding in 1917, the yard continued to operate after World War I until the United States Navy acquired it in 194Todd Corporation of Brooklyn, New York, took over the yard's management in 194There is a paper insert within the badge reading 16 5501.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

Nickel-plated brass, paper, celluloid.

Two-piece badge, vertical safety-style pin, oval saddle.
